The first episode of Supernatural :sigh: As much as I liked the first episode I didn't think it's going to be my fave show ever. I barely needed a minute to fall in love with Dean Winchester, it happened at the moment he said "Easy Tiger". It's so funny starting to watch it from the beginning. Unbelievable how much the story, the characters, the actors have improved over the years. Both of the brothers went through such a character development it's insane. It was great to see the funny Dean instead of the broken guy he became in the end. And Sam... Oh, that boy managed to stay a selfish little jerk from the start and only changed in the end but who couldn't love those puppy dog eyes, right? It's obvious from the beginning who depends on the family more.
Wow, Jared Padelecki did some huge growing. He was such a cute boy and now, now he's like a giant. And about Jensen, the older he is, the better he looks. Not that he wasn't awesome then but he's the George Clooney type, you know that kind of guy who def looks okay older, too. I'm wondering when his voice became deeper.
But about the episode. I still remember how excited I was when I first heard about Supernatural. It didn't disappoint me. The music, the one lines, the actors, the story, it's all perfect. We could learn all times' truth like give a 45 to our children when they say something is in the closet, hunting isn't a pro-ball career, mullet rock still rocks, no chick flick moments - though that's a plan lie, we all know how sensitive our boys can be - and of course, the main house rule, driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cakehole and at last but not least that if nothing but Dean Winchester's boobs are real. Plus, never ever hurt Dean's baby because he will come for you and end you in a terrible way, which I personally totally support - whoever dare hurt a 1967 Chevrolet Impala should die in the worst way it is possible.
My fave part was when Sam drove right into the house, now that was totally badass. Of course, everybody could expect Jess would die - I kinda feel sorry about that because she seemed to be cool - otherwise how the brothers could go to hunt the darkness on the roads of the great US.
Supernatural started out as a weekly horror road movie with the greatest hits of mullet rock and two brothers looking for their father who went hunting and look where they ended up.
